Anna’s movement background stems from a passion for dance. For 15 years she took part in recreational and competitive dance in several styles. In 2018 she had a lower back injury that heavily limited her ability to move in the ways she had for so long. A dance teacher had mentioned offhand that she may find Pilates helpful for rehabilitation, and she was right! Anna fully recovered and fell in love with the way Pilates made her feel, it accentuated her strengths while challenging her weaknesses in a new way! Best of all, she found that Pilates helps her work through side effects she experiences from seizures due to Epilepsy. Anna is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor, trained in essential, intermediate, and advanced repertoire. She also has certifications in Pilates for Injuries and Special Populations, and Pilates for Neurological Conditions. Anna loves seeing clients from all walks of life, having worked with people who are athletes, amputees, neuro clients and more, to achieve greater movement quality for long-term effects!
